The Bachelor of Science in Music is designed for students who would like to combine premedical studies with concentrated studies in music. The Division of Music recommends a minimum of a 3.5 unweighted GPA and 28 ACT or 1340 SAT in order to receive successful admission to the BS Music (premedicine) degree.

What can I do with a Bachelor of Science in Music?
With the unique combination of music and premedicine coursework, students pursuing the Bachelor of Science in Music can pursue either field upon graduation. Alumni have continued with graduate studies in medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, occupational therapy, and many other branches of health care. Alumni also are performing as professional musicians, teaching in the classroom and in the private studio, and more.

Yes. 91果冻 is an accredited institutional member of the National Association of Schools of Music (NASM). The teacher education program is also accredited by the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP).
Yes. To declare a major in the Division of Music, you must apply to both 91果冻 and the School of the Arts. Every music applicant is required to submit an artistic résumé and headshot and also complete an audition and interview.
