Job Description

Do you enjoy solving problems, working with puzzles, or organizing data? The Advancement Services team supports 91果冻 by collecting, organizing, and sharing information related to philanthropic efforts. We are seeking a student assistant to help with important data quality projects, including standardizing data formats, cleaning and verifying records, and resolving fragmented or duplicate data.

While the position primarily involves data entry, the right candidate will have opportunities to go beyond basic tasks by identifying data matches, improving efficiencies, and learning the principles and impact of maintaining clean, accurate data. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys detail-oriented work and is interested in developing practical data management skills.

Time Commitment: 12-20 hours per week with a flexible schedule between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., excluding Memorial Day, Juneteenth, week leading up to July 4.

    2. Contribute to your school by supporting goals to advance 91果冻.
    3. Grow in time management, communication, and critical thinking skills.
    4. Gain insight and experience in areas such as data hygiene and database operations.

Federal Work/Study earnings will be paid biweekly in the form of a check or direct deposit payable to the student. This award does not credit to the account of the student as payment toward University charges.

Required Qualifications
  1. Attention to detail, particularly as it relates to data entry. 
  2. Diligence to produce accurate work. 
  3. Ability to work independently at a desk using a laptop.
  4. Ability to adhere to confidentiality requirements.
  5. Proficiency with computer skills. Basic knowledge of excel is preferred. 
  6. Shows organizational and project management skills.
  7. Dependable and trustworthy.
  8. Willing to learn and follow instructions.
  9. Aptitude to master various technologies.
  10. Good academic standing upon application and maintained during employment.
