Join the Center for Congregational Resources Saturday, March 21st Mental Healthcare in Rural and Small-town Churches. Dr. Gordon Bals, director of Beeson Divinity School’s Christian Counseling program, will present biblical foundations for pastoral counseling, practical tips for mental healthcare with congregants, and important guidance for pastoral self-care. As the founder of Daymark Personal Counseling and a board-certified pastoral counselor, Bals’ work is informed by academic study, counseling experience, and the timeless authority of God’s Word. Lunch and materials provided. The event is free but registration is required.
